Hackney’s Clapton Craft is branching out with a new beer shop opening in Hoe Street, Walthamstow next week.
It will be opening at 76 Hoe Street at 1pm on Thursday, 10 March, right next door to Lot One Ten Antiques, near Ye Old Rose & Crown.
Clapton Craft has sourced pales, porters, sours and stouts from London, the rest of the UK, the US and Europe. There will be nine taps to fill growlers (1.89 litres) and bottles (1 litre) with draft craft and organic wine.
The shop will also feature micro-distilled gin, vodka, scotch, bourbon and rye from the UK and the US.
Clapton Craft already has two shops open in London – one on Lower Clapton Road and a second shop in Kentish Town Road. The Walthamstow branch will be the third shop.
The first Clapton Craft pop-up event was at the Vestry House Museum in 2013, before the first shop opened in Clapton.
Clapton Craft director Tom McKim said “There’s a great community that is very supportive of small shops and businesses, and it’s also an area that we personally like to spend our time in. All in all we think Walthamstow is perfect place for us.”
