The Orb’s Alex Paterson, The Freestylers and Scratch Perverts play for Doctors Without Borders fundraiser, Leyton

It’s an impressive line-up for a good cause: Founder of The Orb, Dr Alex Paterson is headlining a night of live music to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders/MSF).

Head to Leyton’s Old Town Hall on Saturday 2 April for the event organised by Byrdout. Also on the lineup that evening are breakbeat heavyweights The Freestylers, DJ duo Scratch Perverts, and Hot Chip’s tour DJ Pete Fowler, while live band The Purple Lights are kicking off proceedings.

The night is supported by Wild Card Brewery, who are donating their time and beer stock to raise money, while the acts are playing either for free or at a reduced cost. These costs are covered by event organiser Byrd Out.
